Race to Laguna Series Tournament at Trump Golf Club Dubai Concludes with Exciting Finish
The Race to Laguna Series Tournament, a highly anticipated event in the golfing calendar, came to a thrilling conclusion at the esteemed Trump Golf Club Dubai on March 30, 2024. The tournament was a testament to the skill and dedication of the participants, who navigated the challenging course with finesse and determination. Winning Division 1 was Craig Thomson who scored a 1 under par back nine to finish with a net 70 to beat Mike Pugliese by a single shot.
In Division 2, 3 players were all within 1 shot with Mick Conneely and Matt Compton finishing with an even par net 71. Beating them with a net birdie on the 18th to win by 1 was Steve Gibson with a net 70.
Winning division 3 with 1 of only 2 scores in the 60s today was Brendan Lowe who finished two shots clear of second place with a net 68, helped massively by the 7 net birdies he had throughout his round.
The other player in the 60s was Kanjana Amamoon who fired a 4 under 67 guiding her to a comfortable 3 shot victory over Martin Bradley in division 4.
The winner of division 5 was Carmen Cuesta who scored a net 71. A mixed round for Carmen today which included 2 doubles, 3 eagles and finished off with a birdie on 18 to take the win by 2 shots over Orlando Ovalles.
